Present Holder:

PREOWEI field is located approximately 175 km from Port Harcourt, within the Oil Mining Lease 130, in water depths ranging from 1100-1500m. Distances with the main existing or future infrastructures are:

    29 km to the North of EGINA Field and EGINA FPSO (OML130, operated by TUPNI)

    20 km to the North-West of AKPO field & AKPO FPSO (OML130, operated by TUPNI)

PREOWEI will be developed as a subsea Tie-back to the EGINA FPSO. The management of the PREOWEI Project is located in Lagos, Nigeria

         Provide specialist technical support and engineering lead to the Wellhead/XT & IWOCS Engineers to ensure compliance of package designs, test regimes and documentation within contract basis of design during FEED and subsequent EPCI phases of the project

         Provide technical support the SPS/Drilling interface engineering scope of work ensuring that designs are in alignment with rig specific requirements

         Technical lead for all documents relating to wellheads, XT & IWOCS consolidating all comments from other reviewers within project time periods

         Manage (initiate, coordinate and resolve) in cooperation with SURF interface lead; all interfaces arising from the design of the wellheads, Xmas Trees, Tubing hangers and IWOCS (mechanical, electrical, control and monitoring interfaces)

         Report engineering and/or fabrication progress formally through weekly and monthly reports to the SPS Engineering Manager, highlighting critical problems and identifying potential schedule and cost impacts. Jointly agree recovery measures and ensure technical implementation by the contractor

         Maintain tracking logs for engineering actions generated during regular technical clarification meetings related to wellhead/XT and IWOCS Systems and ensuring that open actions are closed in a timely manner

             Technical review of the gap analysis and support towards disposition for resolution/ closure of any deviations

or derogations towards TOTAL’s referential from Alliances during the FEED and EPCI stages of the project

             Liaise with other disciplines and packages to ensure cross package conformity of designs

             Delegate package work scope to the wellhead/XT & IWOCS/SPS-Drilling interface Engineers as required

         Mentor wellhead/XT & IWOCS/SPS-Drilling interface Engineers by ensuring performance targets are established and monitored

         Capture & compile list of lessons learned/ feedback for the wellhead/XT/IWOCS systems on a regular basis throughout FEED and during EPCI phase of the project which could eventually lead to REX systems

             To fully comply with office security, health and safety instructions.

             To stay vigilant and maintain continuous awareness of hazards and surroundings.

             To report to Management on any issue they may face or observe and propose way of improvement.

                To also take care of colleagues safety and behaviour without hesitating to intervene as much as necessary.

                To give his own input and making sure the workplace is safe (obviously clean and tidy).

                      To participate in relevant HSE meetings such as HSE Committee etc. To fully comply with Security rules about Travelling in Nigeria.

The PREOWEI Project is a challenging Project Technically, and with the added constraint of a short time-line for its execution. There is also the constraint of having to interface with six different Alliances within this short time-line (six months)

Position is located in Lagos, with visits to the various Contractors’ offices within and outside Lagos.

The SPS XTree/IWOCS Lead Engineer shall ensure that the Alliances produce fully fit-for-purpose Functional Design documents, and that the ENGINEERING DELIVERABLE Dossier submitted by them contain sufficient information to enable them submit a compliant technical and commercial offer (PROPOSAL) for the ensuing EPCI CONTRACT that may be awarded to one of them.

       The  SPS  XTree/IWOCS  Lead  Engineer’s  primary  focus  is  to  be  the  technical  focal  point  for  all Wellhead/XT/IWOCS engineering design ensuring full compliance with basis of design and contract requirements/specifications.

       Timely execution of the FEED within 6 months is key which will involve rigorous evaluation of all alliances leading up the technical award of contract to the execution phase when the appropriate alliance is selected

          Technical disposition with close liaison with HQ on all deviations/derogations from TOTAL’s General

Specifications/Referential related to design of wellhead/XT/IWOCS Systems

          The SPS XTree / IWOCS Lead Engineer will report to the SPS Engineering Manager

         Expertise: FEED & Detailed engineering experience in Xtree, Wellhead and IWOCS systems with operational experience in Deepwater offshore environment,

Detailed Knowledge of API 6A, 17D & ISO 13628-4-7 & ISO 10423

             Technical Experience: Minimum 15 Years IWOCS & Knowledge of Offshore Subsea Drilling Engineering

             Language: fluent in English
